Title: Outside Sales – Business Development
Location: Houston-based | Regional Travel

Why This Role Exists
WilsherCo is intentionally growing its customer base across oil & gas skids, chemical plants and emerging infrastructure. This role exists to create momentum at the front end—opening doors, identifying opportunities, and introducing WilsherCo’s custom heating services and instrumentation solutions to new customers. With over 45 years in the industry, we are known for our technical expertise and unwavering commitment to delivering results.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop new relationships with o&g skid builders, chemical plants, EPCs, power plants, and commercial construction.
  • Create early-stage opportunities across heating, instrumentation, and controls
  • Identify where customers need help—and proactively offer solutions
  • Work closely with internal design and estimating to move quickly and accurately
  • Build and maintain a healthy, active pipeline aligned with WilsherCo’s targets

  • New qualified accounts added consistently
  • Strong RFQ-to-proposal conversion
  • Customers view you as responsive, positive, and easy to work with
  • Opportunities are well-qualified and handed off cleanly

Experience

  • 3–15+ years of outside sales experience required.
  • Experience selling engineered products or services into chemical plants, power plants, EPCs, or oil & gas skids required.
  • Successful candidates will have existing relationships in Chemical, EPC, Power Generation, or Oil & Gas skid shops.
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales targets required.
